Cisco C8200 Redundancy Configuration
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
PROGRAM OF WORK
In Scope for this project:
1. Cisco box to Box redundancy as described below.
OUT OF SCOPE FOR THIS PROJECT (Will be subject of subsequent proposals):
2. Cisco Call Manager Express Installation
Includes registering of Cisco Handsets.
3. Implementation of Gateway connection to existing
- Cisco VG320;
- Analog handsets connected to VG320
4. Implementation of SIP gateway to service provider
OBJECTIVE
To configure Cisco Box-to-Box redundancy for a pair of Cisco C8200 devices.
CONTEXT
To support a redundant instance of Cisco Call Manager Express complete with VG320 gateway and SIP connections to a service provider.

Both connect to adjacent switch SW01

SUCCESS CRITERIA
S1. Show commands as appropriate to show proper working of redundancy setup
S2. Description of components of setup including but not limited to
S2.1 Function of all interfaces
S2.2 Purpose of all commands
S2.3 Provision of relevant online URLs documenting configuration/design/implementation
S2.4 Any relevant/necessary BFD implementation; including
S2.5 Any BFD setup required on devices other then the two C8200s e.g.
Switch SW01; and/or other devices e.g.
SIP trunks to providers; or
Gateway connection to VG320; or
Other as required
S3. Test Plan Document
Include failure scenarios inlcuding but not limited to
S3.1 Active C8200 uplink failure
S3.2 Passive C8200 uplink failure
S3.3 Detail expected failover of Cisco Call Manager Express components including
the following
Note. These components are out of scope for this project
However expected failover behaviour should be detailed
S3.3.1 VOIP handsets
S3.3.2 SIP Provider trunks
S3.3.3 Gateway connection to VG320
S4. Succesfull Implementation of same Test Plan
MILESTONES
Negotiable.
I am inclined to prefer a single milestone and payment at conclusion of above price of work.
It should be straight forward for an SME with relevant knowledge

A1 Are expressed in terms of the scope detailed above; and
A2 Demonstrate a knowledge of the platforms and technology
Generic questions or suggestions such as "Please let me know what you want" or "Lets have a chat about this" etc.
