Technical Consultation for AC-Coupling Deye Inverter to Sunsynk Hybrid System

Job ID: 40071681

Budget: $75 – $150 USD

I have an existing three-phase hybrid system with 3 × Sunsynk SYNK‑12K‑SG04LP3 inverters (36 kW total), ~44.55 kWp PV DC-connected, each paired with a 14.2 kWh LiFePO4 battery bank. I want to upgrade by adding ~32 kWp PV and ~45 kWh battery using a Deye three-phase 20 kW low-voltage inverter, AC-coupled—without tying the new batteries to the Sunsynks.

Scope of Work:
- Confirm feasibility of AC-coupling the Deye inverter to the Sunsynks (GEN/AUX vs load bus) while addressing GEN port limits (~12–15 kW).
- Recommend optimal connection setup, CT placement for zero-export, and frequency-shift curtailment configuration.
- Provide single-line/basic wiring diagrams.
- Explain power flow, off-grid behavior, anti-islanding measures, and grid-forming conflict avoidance.
- Recommend settings for both Sunsynk and Deye inverters.
- Deliver a brief Bill of Materials (BOM) with specification links.
- Suggest alternatives if AC coupling is not ideal.

Deliverables:
- PDF report with findings and recommendations.
- Single-line/basic wiring diagrams.
- BOM with specification links.
- Settings sheet for both inverters.
- Up to two revisions based on feedback.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in solar PV design and hybrid inverters (Sunsynk/Deye).
- Proven experience with AC coupling setups.
- Background in electrical engineering and familiarity with tools like PVsyst/Helioscope/Aurora (optional).

Budget: $150 USD maximum.

Timeline: 2–7 days.
