Residential Panel Load Calculation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a precise load calculation for a single electrical panel in a residential property that is 2,963 square feet. The goal is to confirm that the existing panel can safely handle present and planned circuits before I we install a new 40amp / 240volt circuit.
What I expect from you
• A full NEC-compliant load summary showing connected loads, demand factors, and calculated service demand.
• A clear panel schedule or worksheet (PDF or Excel) that I can hand directly to the permitting office.
• Any brief notes or assumptions you make (e.g., appliance ratings, continuous loads) so everything is transparent.
I will provide the list of fixed appliances, general lighting loads, and any specialty circuits as soon as we start. If you prefer using software such as ETAP, EasyPower, or a well-structured spreadsheet, let me know—either approach is fine as long as the math checks out.
Turnaround within a couple of days is ideal, but let me know if you need more time.
