PowerCAD-5 Electrical Installation Design for Residential House (AS3000)
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need an experienced PowerCAD-5 user to complete a full electrical installation design in PowerCAD-5 for a small residential property (2-bedroom house/apartment in Victoria).
Scope of Work:
Build the complete electrical installation in PowerCAD-5 (.QPJ file)
Create load schedule following AS/NZS 3000 Table C1
Calculate Maximum Demand
Size main supply cable and main protection device
Design and verify all sub-circuits (lighting, power points, oven, hot water, A/C, etc.)
Cable sizing & voltage drop verification per AS/NZS 3008.1
Select appropriate protection devices (NHP/Schneider or equivalent)
Protection coordination check in PowerCAD-5
Earthing conductor sizing (main earth + circuit earths)
Clean Single Line Diagram
Deliverables:
Final native PowerCAD-5 (.QPJ) file
Exported PDF of the Single Line Diagram
Brief circuit schedule / load summary
Requirements:
You must be proficient with PowerCAD-5
Work must follow Australian Standards (AS3000, AS3008.1)
Clean, well-organised file with sensible naming and labelling
I will provide the floor plan, load data, and specific design parameters from the assignment brief
