General Arrangement (GA) Design of Automation Components
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm in need of an qualified electrical engineer to design the General Arrangement (GA) of automation components. You will develop a layout plan that ensures optimal placement and accessibility of all components within the GA.The enclosure will house various components including controllers, sensors, circuit breakers, relays, and switches.
The system will operate with the following input specifications:.
Component Selection and Layout Planning
- Equipment and component selection has already been completed and will be made available to you
Electrical Design
Design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for the automation components.
Ensure that the design includes proper circuit protection mechanisms (e.g., fuses, circuit breakers).
Include provisions for grounding and bonding in the electrical design.
Mechanical Design
Design the physical arrangement of the components within the enclosure or panel.
Ensure adequate spacing for ventilation and ease of maintenance.
Specify materials and dimensions for the enclosure or mounting panels.
Integration and Interface Design
Design interfaces for power, control signals, and data communication between components.
Ensure compatibility and seamless integration with existing systems and equipment.
Documentation and Deliverables
Provide comprehensive design documentation, including:
General Arrangement (GA) drawings
Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Bill of materials (BOM)
Component datasheets
Assembly and installation instructions
Safety and compliance reports
Provide a final design report summarizing the design process and decisions.
