Expert PCB Engineer for PI base Board
Budget: ₹10,000 – ₹14,000 INR
PCB Layout & Routing Engineer Needed for CM4 4-USB Board - Schematic Verification Required - NDA Mandatory
Description:
We are looking for an experienced PCB design engineer to review, verify, complete, and improve the PCB layout/routing for an existing Raspberry Pi CM4-based 4-USB carrier board project.
The project files are already available in an editable EDA project format. The selected freelancer must sign an NDA before receiving the design files.
Scope of Work:
Review and verify the existing schematic before layout/routing
Check CM4 connections, USB hub/USB port section, power rails, grounding, reset/boot signals, connectors, ESD/protection, and decoupling
Verify footprints, pin mapping, component placement, and net connections
Complete or improve PCB placement and routing
Follow proper USB differential pair routing practices where applicable
Run ERC/DRC and fix layout/schematic issues
Check manufacturability for PCB fabrication and assembly
Prepare final production outputs: Gerber files, drill files, BOM, pick-and-place/CPL, and assembly notes
Provide a short issue report explaining changes and any remaining risks
Required Skills:
Experience with EasyEDA Pro, KiCad, Altium, or similar PCB tools
Prior experience with Raspberry Pi CM4 carrier boards or embedded Linux hardware preferred
Experience with USB routing, multi-layer PCB layout, power distribution, and DFM
Ability to review schematics carefully, not only route tracks
Must be willing to sign NDA before project files are shared
Deliverables:
Verified schematic review report
Completed PCB layout/routing
ERC/DRC-clean project where possible
Gerber, drill, BOM, CPL/pick-and-place files
Final editable project files
