Design and deliver a protoype of a usb drive which allows simultaneous Ethernet / Wifi access
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I need a USB drive which can simultaneously be accessed via Wifi and/or Ethernet.
This USB dive will be plugged into the USB plug on a computer/device which will be writing data to it. The files are each up to about 1Gb in size, and then the file is closed and another file will be written.
Once each file has been written to the USB drive, I need to be able to access it over Ethernet or Wifi.
The existing products on the market allow for either connection via USB or Ethernet/Wifi - but not simultaneously.
The reason for simultaneous operation is for timeliness of data, I need to be downloading the last file while the next file gets written. These are large files and I need to do processing on them while the next file is being written.
Note, that if you can get it working on Ethernet, we will plug in a Wifi AP to get the data wirelessly.
If fast Wifi is available, then it will work.
