Custom PCB Design Needed
Budget: $10 – $100 AUD
I’m ready to move an electronic concept from sketch to a production-ready printed circuit board and need an experienced PCB designer to handle the full layout process. I’m still flexible on the layer count—single, double, or multi-layer—so advise me on what best balances performance, cost, and manufacturability. The end application is also open; the focus right now is on creating a robust, well-routed board that can be scaled for either consumer, industrial, or automotive environments depending on the final product decision.
At this stage I don’t have a fixed component list, which means I’ll rely on your recommendations for footprints, placement, and sourcing. Experience with KiCad, Altium, or Eagle is welcome; let me know which platform you prefer and why it suits this project.
Deliverables I expect:
• Complete schematic capture
• Optimized PCB layout with clear design rules applied
• Gerber and drill files ready for fabrication
• Bill of Materials with supplier part numbers
• Basic documentation so any future engineer can pick up the design quickly
To make sure we hit the mark, please share a brief outline of your design approach, any similar boards you’ve produced, and the EDA tools you’ll use. If you can prototype or arrange small-batch fabrication, mention that as well. I’m looking to start as soon as we agree on the workflow, so send over your questions and let’s get this board into production.
