Custom RF Control System

Job ID: 40386042

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need a matched RF transmitter-receiver pair engineered from the ground up for remote control operation. When the handheld transmitter is activated, the receiver must recognise a unique code and immediately trigger a defined sequence of actions inside my host device. Reliability, low latency and immunity to casual interference are essential.

Here’s what I’m expecting from you:
• Schematic and PCB layout for both transmitter and receiver, ready for fabrication.
• PCB Gerber files.
• Breadboard demonstrating functionality.
• Firmware (or discrete logic plan) that decodes the signal and drives the action sequence pins
• A succinct test report proving range, stability, and correct execution of the sequence in a lab environment.

You are free to propose the frequency band, modulation scheme and microcontroller or RF chipset, as long as the final design complies with unlicensed operation rules in major markets. I’ll supply the exact action sequence and GPIO mapping once we’ve agreed on the architecture, so please show that you can handle both hardware design and embedded code.

If you’ve previously delivered robust remote controls or key-fob style products, that experience will be invaluable here.
