Break Beam Sensing Circuit Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I'm seeking an experienced electronics engineer to design a break beam sensing circuit. The circuit should output a change in state when the light level on any one of a line of phototransistors drops below a preset threshold.
Key Requirements:
- The normal light level threshold for each phototransistor needs to be set by a processor during power-up.
- The circuit should support between 10 to 50 phototransistors.
- The circuit must provide an instant alert when the light level drops below the threshold.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in circuit design and microelectronics.
- Experience with phototransistor circuits.
- Knowledge of setting parameters via processors.
- Able to design a circuit with instant alert capabilities.
Please note that the specific type of processor to be used for setting the light level thresholds at power-up has not yet been determined. Your input and expertise on this matter would be highly valued.
