Video Documentary Editor with 3D map Routes animation

Job ID: 39925931

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a long-form documentary in post-production and need an editor who can seamlessly weave narrative-driven storytelling with crisp point-to-point route animations. The raw footage is already organized and roughly assembled; what’s missing is the polish—precise pacing, colour consistency, sound sweetening, and the dynamic 3D map sequences that illustrate our travel path from one location to the next.

The animation component is key. Each segment of the story calls for a clear on-screen journey, tracing the exact route between two or more coordinates so viewers immediately grasp where the action moves next. Whether you prefer After Effects with Element 3D, Cinema 4D, or a Blender workflow, I’m open—as long as the end result feels cohesive with the live-action footage and looks broadcast-ready.

My ideal timeline is to lock picture within a month. I’ll provide all media, reference maps, GPS data, and VO tracks on a shared drive. In return I’ll need the final edit in 4K ProRes, complete project files, and a short review window so any tweaks can be turned around before we hit the festival submission deadline.

If narrative flow and geo-visual storytelling are your strengths, this should be a straightforward yet rewarding collaboration.
