React & Rails Developer Needed

The task centers on an existing web-applikasjon that runs on a Ruby on Rails back-end with a React front-end. Several bugs are live in production, and a series of new add-ons are queued for rollout.

First, the current issues need to be triaged, replicated, and resolved in both the UI and the API layers. Once the codebase is stable, work shifts to building the planned add-ons—stand-alone modules that extend core functionality and integrate seamlessly with our present structure. Git for version control, RSpec and Jest for testing, and a standard CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions) are already in place, so every change will move through pull requests, review, and automated deployment to staging before going live.

Deliverables
• Bug-fix commits merged to main with green test suites
• Fully-functional add-on modules, each delivered as a separate pull request
• Updated unit and integration tests for every new feature or fix
• Brief change log and any necessary migration instructions

Acceptance criteria
1. All reported bugs reproduce and pass after the fix on staging.
2. New add-ons follow design specs and show no regression in existing features.
3. Test coverage is maintained or improved.
4. Code respects prevailing style guides for both Rails and React.

With these milestones completed, the app will be stable, extensible, and ready for its next growth phase.
