DevOps Engineer (CI/CD, GitFlow, Cloud Infrastructure)
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage CI/CD pipelines, repository workflows, and cloud server infrastructure across multiple projects and vendors. This role requires strong ownership of environments, access control, and deployment workflows.
This is an ad-hoc, on-demand engagement per project with short turnaround expectations. While not a continuous role, it can evolve into a long-term engagement for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket YAML
• Implement and enforce GitFlow workflow
• Repository and file structure management across multiple projects
• Vendor access control and permission management (repos, servers, files)
• Cloud server setup and configuration (staging & production)
• Deployment automation and environment segregation
• Project archiving and lifecycle management (staging → live → archived)
• Maintain consistent workflows across teams and vendors
Technical Expertise Required
• CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines or similar)
• GitFlow, branching strategies, repo governance
• Linux server administration
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure – any is fine)
• Python, PHP, JavaScript project deployments
• Docker & containerized deployments (preferred)
• Security best practices, access control, key management
• Logging, monitoring, and rollback strategies
Engagement & Collaboration
• Available for ad-hoc, fast-turnaround tasks
• Comfortable onboarding and coordinating with new teams and vendors
• Ability to lead Zoom calls, explain workflows, and handhold teams into our processes
• Strong communication and documentation skills required
