AWS EKS Infrastructure Migration with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes

we are looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to assist in migrating our existing infrastructure to a new AWS environment. Our current stack is built with AWS EKS (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and GitLab CI/CD. The goal is to replicate the same setup in a new AWS account/environment, ensuring all automation, pipelines, integrations, and security practices are fully in place.

The project duration is 45 days, and we already have a granular migration plan broken down into detailed phases (Terraform scripting, GitLab runners setup, CI templates, Helm deployments, data migration, staging validation, and cutover).

Key Deliverables:

Fully provisioned AWS EKS cluster in target account.

Refactored Terraform modules with backend state and security best practices.

GitLab runners installed and integrated with IRSA.

CI/CD pipelines for Terraform, builds, deployments, and security scans.

Applications successfully deployed to staging and production.

Successful cutover with minimal downtime.

Final handover documentation (runbooks, architecture diagrams, access roles).
