Meet Buttercup and Tiger Lily, two Great Dane puppies. Buttercup is small and sweet, Tiger Lily is big and brave.
Page 2
The puppies have a plan, to go from here to there. Buttercup looks worried, but Tiger Lily doesn't care.
Page 3
They start on their way, but soon Buttercup trips. She tumbles and stumbles and her little heart skips.
Page 4
Tiger Lily looks back, sees Buttercup's distress. She trots back to help, to see what's the mess.
Page 5
Buttercup is embarrassed, she can't do it alone. Tiger Lily steps up, "we're in this together," she intones.
Page 6
They cross a small stream, and Buttercup falls in. Tiger Lily jumps in too, with a grin.
Page 7
They struggle and swim, but they make it through. Buttercup is proud, and Tiger Lily is too.
Page 8
Next comes a fence, so tall and so high. Tiger Lily can jump it, but Buttercup can only try.

Buttercup tries and tries, but she can't make it up. Tiger Lily comes back, they'll do it as a pup.

Tiger Lily crouches down, Buttercup jumps on her back. Together they climb over, with a clickity-clack.

Now they're on a path, but it's full of big rocks. Tiger Lily steps over them, but Buttercup gets caught in the blocks.

Tiger Lily goes back, "I'll help you again." Together they move forward, they'll reach the end.

Now they're at a river, with a bridge far away. Tiger Lily knows the way, but Buttercup starts to sway.

She's scared of the water, the river looks deep. Tiger Lily takes her paw, and they take a leap.

They splash and they play, they're having such fun. Buttercup's fears are gone, they've just begun.

The sun starts to set, they're almost there. Tiger Lily is proud, Buttercup has grown with care.

They reach their destination, with wagging tails. Buttercup and Tiger Lily, have passed all their trails.
