I am looking for a freelancer to design and develop an interactive Chemistry learning module at a medium level—challenging but not too complex. The material should gradually increase in difficulty throughout a 20-30 minute session (flexible but not exceeding 30 minutes).
Scope of Work
You can choose any fundamental Chemistry topic (e.g., atoms and molecules, their properties, bonding types, their mix is the best).
The learning content is intended for undergraduate students who are not Chemistry majors.
The core learning content should remain the same across all versions but should be presented in three variations:
- Base Version – Standard interactive learning without extra features.
- Scaffolding/Feedback Version – Provides hints or corrective feedback when needed.
- Gamification Version – Incorporates game elements (e.g., points, rewards, challenges) to increase engagement.
Important: The three versions must differ in how the content is presented and structured, but not in what is being taught.
Use of External Interactive Simulations & Teaching Materials
The learning content can incorporate external interactive Chemistry simulations (e.g., atom-building, molecular bonding, periodic table activities).
You do not need to create custom 3D models or animations—existing simulation files will be provided for integration.
All borrowed resources (images, animations, interactive files) must be organized into a separate folder with proper file names and referenced in the learning content plan for use in digital content.
Design Requirements for the Three Variations
1. Scaffolding/Feedback Version
Provides real-time hints when learners make mistakes.
Example: If a student incorrectly places an electron in the wrong orbit, the system provides a hint (e.g., "Try placing electrons in the lowest energy level first.").
If the student struggles for a prolonged period, step-by-step guidance is shown.
2. Gamification Version
Uses game mechanics such as points, achievements, and challenges to increase motivation.
Example: Completing a module correctly without hints earns more points.
Bonus challenges: "Can you build a stable molecule using only 3 elements?"
Progress tracking and level completion rewards encourage continued learning.
Final Deliverables Format
The final output must be delivered in the following formats:

Full written content including instructions for learners, activity steps, and system reactions (e.g., what happens when a mistake is made in Scaffolding Mode).
Includes guidelines for adaptation into digital content (if necessary).
✅ Presentation Slides (PPT)
Demonstrates how the learning content and activities will be presented.
Shows sequence of parts, UI elements, transitions, and learning interactions.
Explains differences between Base, Scaffolding, and Gamification versions visually.
✅ Resource Folder (Images, Borrowed Animations, Simulation Files, etc.)
All external files used (images, animations, standalone simulation files) must be included separately in a structured folder.
