I need a chemical engineer experienced with energetic materials to carry out a full impact-sensitivity assessment on a small‐scale sample I will supply. The work centres on a standard drop-weight impact tester, so you should already have access to that equipment and be comfortable running it under strict safety protocols.

Scope of work
First, we will agree on the test matrix (drop heights, sample mass, number of repetitions, pass/fail criteria). You will then prepare your lab, calibrate the drop-weight apparatus, and run the trials while capturing high-speed video and force data. Throughout the process I expect detailed notes on handling precautions, environmental conditions, and any deviations from STANAG or ASTM procedures you typically follow.

Timeline & collaboration
I’m ready to ship the sample immediately and would like the final report within two weeks of your receipt. Regular check-ins over video or chat to confirm progress are important to me, especially during the initial setup and first test run.
