Transport Phenomena Chemical Engineering Project

Hi, I need to write a project for my Transport Phenomena Chemical Engineering class. The project has to include Matlab or computer code.

You will select your own topic, formulate a problem, provide some motivation why the
problem is either interesting or important, and clearly communicate a solution or analysis
of the problem. The project will be communicated in a written term paper.

The project should be on the analysis of transport phenomena applied to either your thesis
research, your workplace experience, a career interest, or other problem of interest to
you. There must be some demonstration of applying technical and theoretical concepts. A
typical project will review relevant publications, formulate a transport model, solve a
simplified model analytically, and solve the full model by computation. The literature
review is mainly intended to motivate the problem and identify what is novel in the
student’s project. Example
topics describe flow of momentum, energy, mass, charge, and/or entropy where multiple
dimensions of time and space are important.

The project term paper will contain between four (preferred) and no more than six pages
of English text, i.e. not including figures, graphs, and appendices of computer code,
detailed derivations, etc.
