I'm looking for someone to provide detailed explanations on reaction rates for surface reactions. If pre-exponential factor is given in cm3/mol.s how do we achieve a reaction rate in mol/m2.s.
Assume a reaction:
C-H + H => C* + H2
Where Cs* and Cs-H are surface species on a surface.
C* is unoccupied Carbon.
C-H is occupied Carbon with Hydrogen.
