SDS Safety Review for Descaler

Job ID: 40331909

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have formulated a water-based tankless-heater descaler that relies on citric acid, a mild surfactant, water and a trace dye. My Safety Data Sheet draft is already complete; what I need now is a professional chemist’s set of eyes on the safety and hazard sections before I move forward with distribution.

Your job is to comb through the draft SDS and validate or correct every point that could impact user health. I’m especially keen to confirm the accuracy of inhalation, skin-contact and ingestion hazard statements, pictograms, first-aid advice, PPE recommendations, and any required signal words. If you spot gaps in exposure limits, toxicological data, or disposal wording, flag them and propose precise revisions.

Deliverables:
• Marked-up copy (tracked changes or comments) of the SDS highlighting all edits
• Clean, final version ready for filing and printing
• Brief sign-off memo stating the document meets current OSHA-GHS criteria for a consumer descaler

Everything is already compiled in a single Word/PDF file, so the task is focused, not a ground-up creation. Let me know up front if you prefer additional formulation details or pH measurements to verify the data.
