Process/chemical/mechanical engineer observant

Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD

We need a process or chemical engineer to accompany our engineering team on a business trip overseas to be the observant/scribe in two or three meetings. The project is about a petrochemical plant. We provide the return tickets, accommodation, insurance and meals plus a negotiable sum that will be paid at the end of the job.

The Role
We are looking for an engineer (preferably process or chemical or mechanical) with some experience in the design of chemical plants to be the observant/scribe in two or three meetings that are to be held in early March 2022. The whole trip is between 7 and 10 days, and there might be a few more trips in the future.

What do you need to be successful?
To be successful the candidate should have:
1. Degree in engineering preferably with some experience and/or knowledge about chemical plant design.
2. Be a native English speaker so our senior engineer can fully rely on his/her understanding of the meetings.
3. Willingness to travel overseas.
4. Have a valid passport.
5. Fully vaccinated against COVID19
What do you get in return?
We will pay for the whole trip (return tickets, accommodation, meals, insurance) plus a negotiable sum that is paid at the end of the trip. The candidate will have the opportunity to meet senior managers/engineers and learn about the processes involved. There may be a few more trips in the future.
