Aspen plus V10 simulation to produce PLGA from raw materials:
Lactic acid, Glycolic acid and Tin(II) catalyst
lactic acid needs to be converted to PLA first
Lactic acid feed - 11000 lb/hr feed
Glycolic acid feed - 7600 lb/hr
Don't know how much Tin(II) will take, need to be simulated.
I believe there needs to be few steps until PLGA final is produced. Perhaps few reactors!
All the supporting equipment - pumps, compressors, condensers and so on..
All the equipment sizes, pressures, temperatures between unit of operation, duty, HP and so on.
