I’m looking for a seasoned process engineer with a deep heat-transfer background—ideally someone who has designed or troubleshot exchangers in upstream or downstream Oil & Gas facilities—to develop a publication-ready white paper that will educate fellow industry professionals.
Scope
The document should walk readers from fundamentals to practical design implications, focusing on:
• Modern heat-exchanger design principles relevant to oil and gas duty profiles.
• Key fluid-dynamics considerations that govern heat-transfer coefficients and pressure drop.
• A clear, data-driven comparison of HX tubes with and without turbulence-enhancement features such as dimples.
• How turbulence-enhancement mitigates fouling, with quantified impacts on reliability, cleaning frequency, and lifecycle cost.
What I expect
– 12–18 pages of well-structured text, figures, and tables (ready for PDF release).
– At least two recent field or simulation case studies illustrating performance differences.
– Calculations or CFD plots that support claims, with equations fully referenced.
– Executive summary, conclusion, and practical recommendations.
