New Chemical Product Development (R&D)

We are a growing chemical manufacturing and trading company looking to hire an experienced freelance chemical R&D professional to assist in the development of new chemical products for industrial, pharma, cosmetic, aroma, and specialty chemical applications.

The freelancer will work closely with our internal team to research, design, optimize, and document scalable chemical processes suitable for laboratory, pilot, and industrial production.

Scope of Work
• Research and propose commercially viable synthesis routes for new chemical products
• Develop lab-scale SOPs with precise quantities and operating conditions
• Optimize reaction parameters (yield, purity, cost, safety)
• Suggest industrial-scale process flow and raw material sourcing
• Assist with impurity control, purification, and analytical methods (GC/HPLC)
• Provide process documentation suitable for regulatory and scale-up purposes
• Support troubleshooting and process improvement

Required Expertise
• Strong background in Organic / Industrial / Fine Chemical Chemistry
• Hands-on experience in chemical process development & scale-up
• Knowledge of industrial reaction chemistry, catalysts, solvents, and separations
• Familiarity with aroma chemicals, intermediates, specialty chemicals (preferred)
• Ability to create clear SOPs, batch sheets, and technical documentation
• Understanding of safety, regulatory, and cost optimization
