Interpreting FTIR spectrum
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have recently conducted FTIR analysis on two similar samples and obtained spectrum graphs for each. I am seeking a skilled individual who can provide interpretation of the general trends and identify the minerals and functional groups associated with each peak.
Requirements:
A good understanding of spectrum graphs of FTIR with ability to identify minerals and functional groups based on peak characteristics. Also, familiarity with referencing relevant databases for matching the spectra.
Deliverables:
Clear and concise interpretation of the general trend observed in the FTIR spectrum graphs with Identification of specific minerals and functional groups corresponding to each peak in the spectra. Along with that a justification for the choice of minerals and functional groups, including references or databases used for matching the spectra.
Please note:
This is a straightforward simple project, and a full report is not required. Only a few lines of interpretation per spectrum will be sufficient. Applicants without a solid understanding of FTIR analysis are kindly requested not to apply for this project.
