Entry-Level Medical Coding Support (CPC Certified or Experienced)
Budget: ₹2,500 – ₹5,000 INR
We are seeking medical coders to assist with basic medical coding tasks in Surgery, Evaluation and Management (E/M), and Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC). This project is ideal for freshers or entry-level coders who want to gain experience while delivering quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surgery Coding: Accurately code procedures such as:
- Gastroenterology: Colonoscopy, EGD, Liver biopsy, ERCP, Esophagoscopy.
- Respiratory System: Bronchoscopy, Lung biopsy, Thoracentesis.
- Other Procedures: Arthroplasty, Excision, Skin Biopsy, Repair, Nerve block, Injections.
- Evaluation and Management (E/M): Focus on outpatient projects that involve coding E/M levels and diagnoses (Dx). Tasks will be straightforward and suitable for entry-level coders.
- HCC Coding: Specific focus on Athentha HCC projects with accurate diagnosis coding and risk adjustment factor calculations.
Availability & Guidance:
I am available after 7 PM on weekdays for communication and support. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday), I can dedicate more time to provide detailed feedback and assistance. Additionally, I am happy to offer basic guidance in medical coding to help freelancers improve their skills while working on this project.
Key Requirements:
- CPC certification is preferred but not mandatory. Non-certified coders with 1–2 years of relevant medical coding experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and outpatient E/M guidelines.
- Familiarity with HCC coding principles and risk adjustment factors.
- Ability to code accurately and meet deadlines.
