Dye & Pulp Agent Safety Review

Job ID: 39817504

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I am evaluating a range of dyes and molded-pulp fixing agents for consumer products, and I need a materials specialist who can quickly validate that our formulations are both safe for end-users and environmentally sound. Your role is to dive into the current data, fill any analytical gaps, and document clear, standards-ready findings that will let us move toward certification and scale-up.

Here is what I expect you to deliver:
• Chemical composition analysis – verify each ingredient, quantify impurities, and highlight any substance of concern under current EU, US, and REACH lists.
• Environmental impact assessment – model release scenarios for production, use, and disposal; include biodegradability, aquatic toxicity, and carbon-footprint metrics.
• Safety regulations compliance – map the results against applicable consumer-goods regulations (FDA food-contact, ASTM D6400, EN 13432, Proposition 65, etc.) and specify any corrective steps.

You will have direct access to our existing SDS sheets. I am happy to schedule live walkthroughs of the data set, and I can ship physical samples if confirmatory testing is needed on your end.

Please outline the methods you plan to use, relevant standards you will reference, and an estimated timeline for the three deliverables above. If you have previously worked with bio-based dyes or molded-pulp additives, mention the project—it will help me gauge fit.
