Develop Print-Ready Paper Formula
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m creating a new paper/label material intended specifically for printing and need a chemist who also understands paper science. Your task is to outline a viable formulation that I can take to pilot scale.
Here’s what I need:
• A concise formulation concept, listing key fibers, fillers, binders, and coatings that work well with common digital inks. Thermal and/or ink jet.
• Brief notes on processing steps—pulp preparation, additive addition points, drying or calendaring adjustments.
I’ll share the exact performance targets (currently confidential) once we have an NDA in place. For now, assume the focus is on paper/label that has cability to perform intended objectivity.
Deliver the formulation outline, supporting rationale, and any quick test protocols in a clear PDF or Word doc. A practical, chemistry-driven approach is more valuable than extensive theory.
