Desiccant Air Dryer Analysis for Low Pressure Exhaust Gas
Budget: $35 – $100 USD
Chemical Engineer to calculate performance of a desiccant dryer that dehydrates low pressure exhaust gas from burning fossil fuels. The dryer parameters will be provided, and the engineer is expected to provide analysis, provide documentation of the analysis that is easily understood by someone that has a technical background but is not a dryer expert, and to make recommended changes to the dryer to improve performance.
We will provide a geometry that uses Sorbead WS for a guard layer, Sorbead R as the main desiccant layer and 3A for the residual layer. The inlet gas composition, flow, temperature and pressure will also be provided for adsorption and purge during desorption.
We are expecting the engineer to perform analysis that provides water adsorption and cooling requirements vs time as well as expected dewpoints at the outlet. The Sorbead and 3A will be two different sections and will have different heating and cooling mechanisms that will need to be addressed.
We will not consider anyone that does not demonstrate proven experience with dryer analysis.
Must be fluent in English
