Chemical Process P&ID Drafting
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need several P&ID drawings prepared in AutoCAD P&ID for a chemical-processing system we are developing. These drawings are primarily for process design, so every stream, valve, instrument bubble, and control loop has to be clear enough for our engineers to size equipment and lay out the plant, yet they don’t have to reach the exhaustive “as-built” level. Think of it as an intermediate detail set: line numbers, tag numbers, and spec breaks must be shown, but full construction notes can wait for a later phase.
I will supply a process flow diagram, equipment lists, and preliminary line data. Your job is to translate that information into clean, layered DWG files (and matching PDFs) that follow ISA symbols and our in-house line-type standards. If you see opportunities to simplify the routing or spot inconsistencies in the data, flag them so we can correct things early.
Deliverables
• AutoCAD P&ID DWG files for each unit operation
• Matching PDF plots sized for A1 sheets
• An updated line list exported from the drawings
I’m happy to clarify valve tagging conventions or share our title-block template before you start, and I’d like to review the first drawing quickly to confirm style. Once we lock the format, the rest can roll out in a single batch or smaller milestones—whichever keeps the quality high and the turnaround smooth.
