BBQ-related Product Development/ non stick grease/ reverse engineering
Budget: €30 – €80 EUR
We are seeking a food engineer, or possibly a chemical engineer, to assist us in developing a new barbecue-related product.
The Problem:
After thoroughly cleaning a cast-iron grill grate following a barbecue session, rust forms quickly. Additionally, the grate becomes prone to sticking after a proper cleaning. To prevent this, various products are used to coat and season the grate.
Currently, we are using a product that, while effective at preserving the grate and preventing sticking, has a consistency that is too solid—similar to congealed fat that must be heated before use. This makes the product less user-friendly despite its excellent performance.
The Solution:
Can you develop a similar food-grade product? Or reproduce our current solution, but ensure it remains stably semi-liquid at a temperature range of 15 to 30 degrees Celsius? We envision a consistency comparable to a thick cream or toothpaste.
Before submitting a proposal, please ensure that you are confident in your ability to handle this task. Read this job description carefully to avoid asking questions already addressed here. Also read (and understand) the attached document! Generic, copy-paste responses will not be considered.
Good luck bidding!
