ASPEN Plus Anaerobic Digestion Simulation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a fully-parameterised ASPEN Plus V14.2 model that captures the key biological steps of anaerobic digestion so I can observe how the plant responds when I vary two levers: substrate concentration and hydraulic retention time.
My core interest is methane production, so the flowsheet must report CH₄ flow rate (Nm³ h⁻¹ or similar) at every run and allow easy extraction of the data for comparative plots.
Your task is to build, validate and hand over:
• the working ASPEN Plus (.bkp) file with all relevant property methods and reaction kinetics implemented,
• a concise run guide that shows where and how to change the two investigated parameters, and
• a brief results note or dashboard (Excel, MATLAB or embedded Aspen Analysis) illustrating at least three operating points to prove the model’s stability.
The project is complete when the file opens error-free in V14.2, converges across the chosen operating window, and reports methane production figures that are physically reasonable.
