Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to enhance our existing POS and Inventory Management Platform. The ideal candidate must be highly skilled in Node.js (backend) and React (frontend) and have prior experience working on scalable, production-ready applications.
This project involves adding several new features and improving overall system functionality and user experience.
Scope of Work / Features to Implement:
Offline Mode
Enable system functionality during internet outages
Local data storage and synchronization when back online
Printing Integration
Support printing via:
Wireless printers
Bluetooth printers
Direct machine-connected printers
Printing of receipts, invoices, and reports
ChatGPT API Integration
Integrate OpenAI’s ChatGPT API for intelligent features such as:
Business insights
Inventory suggestions
Customer support assistance (details to be finalized)
Theme Customization
Implement light/dark mode or multiple UI themes
Allow easy theme switching without affecting performance
General Improvements
Code optimization and performance enhancements
Bug fixing and testing
Proper documentation of new features
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Node.js
Strong experience with React.js
Experience building POS or Inventory Management systems (highly preferred)
Experience with offline-first applications
Knowledge of printer integrations (Bluetooth, Wireless, USB)
Experience working with REST APIs
Familiarity with OpenAI / ChatGPT API is a plus
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
