I’m looking for a seasoned developer to code a Discord bot that will act as a GameMaster for a Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) game. Key required features include:
- Fluent usage of chatGPT to generate responses.
- Role management to mimic an actual DnD game.
- Custom commands to facilitate comprehensive game controls.
- Advanced feature of managing game mechanics (character statistics, dice rolls, player inventory, and more).
Ideally, the freelancer should have extensive experience designing Discord bots, a firm grasp of using chatbot technology like ChatGPT, and familiarity with Dungeons and Dragons gaming mechanics.
The primary features I need are as follows:
- the ability to upload specific source material such as DnD rulebooks and adventure modules for the Game Master to draw from
- for the Game Master bot to feel like a real person GM'ing the game allowing for interesting options and the ability to adapt while staying incredibly accurate to the rules of DnD 5e
