E-Commerce Content Engagement Manager
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run an online store focused on engineering and test equipment and need a hands-on content manager who can own the full content and engagement cycle. The site already carries hundreds of SKUs from several manufacturers alongside our own branded products; what I’m missing is the continuous, data-driven attention that keeps pages fresh, persuasive, and visible in U.S. search results.
In this Contest, you will need to show us how you would recreate the content on a current webpage to improve that content's appeal to Test Engineers, Project Mangers, Corporate Buyers and Engineering Technicians. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the key Company Competitors, Product competition, and how to out position, out sell and out rank thier websites. Knowledge of Figma, HTML, CMS Systems, Odoo, basic engineering a big plus.
To Win, you will need to mock up and creat better content for LDS /our Manufacturer's product page and product or

You must respect our page design/layout/font/brand, you may ask what you may improve or change, add.
You may also ask questions about the technology or the manufacturer, or the competition but you are expected to do research on your own and come with solutions/questions and fleshed out ideas to verify if needed.-- the goal is to find someone who can act independently on their own and help run this endeavor on all products and all web content pages.
In the future here is what you would handle day-to-day:
• Craft and refine product descriptions and supporting blog posts so every item is technically accurate yet easy for engineers and buyers to scan.
• Edit existing copy with a sharp eye on competitive positioning—our pages must out-rank and out-convert the equivalent listings from rival brands and suppliers.
• Drive our primary goal of customer engagement and re-engagement through email sequences, remarketing ads (Google, Bing, emerging AI channels), and on-site messaging.
• Build or overhaul landing pages that move visitors efficiently from keyword to cart.
• Keep ERP-linked pricing current, flagging margin issues before they reach the storefront.
For SEO, I care less about chasing generic volume and more about owning commercially relevant phrases that U.S. customers actually type when comparing equipment. Your keyword proposals should therefore come with a quick competitive gap analysis and an implementation plan that folds naturally into the copy you create.
Acceptance criteria
• Each week: a content calendar with topics, target keywords, and engagement touchpoints.
• Each month: a report showing changes in organic ranking against named competitors, click-through rates from ads, and re-engagement metrics (repeat visits, email opens, or similar).
• Ongoing: no product goes live or remains published with outdated specs, broken links, or incorrect pricing.
If you thrive on technical subjects, enjoy testing headlines against hard sales data, and can jump between CMS, ad dashboards, and an ERP without missing a beat, let’s talk.
