WhatsApp Sales Funnel Automation ( Must Have Coding Skills )

My goal is to lift sales conversions by building an end-to-end customer journey that starts on WhatsApp, guides prospects through a funnel, and automatically creates follow-up tasks for the team. The core of the project is a chatbot running on the official WhatsApp Business API. It must answer common pre-purchase questions instantly, capture lead data, and nudge each user toward the next conversion step—whether that is a checkout link, a booking page, or a live agent hand-off.
Parallel to the customer side, every key interaction should trigger task-management automations so no hot lead slips through the cracks. For example, when someone requests a quote, a task appears in our chosen workspace with the prospect’s details and deadline. The system needs to run reliably without manual intervention once it is live.
Key deliverables
• WhatsApp Business API setup and verification
• Decision-tree chatbot that answers FAQs, records lead info, and escalates when needed
• Sales funnel pages or forms that pair smoothly with the chat flow
• Automations that generate and update tasks inside our task-management tool at defined milestones
• Documentation plus a short hand-over session so the team can adjust flows in the future
Acceptance criteria
1. A test user can move from first contact to a completed conversion step in under three minutes without human help.
2. All chat transcripts and lead fields populate our CRM/spreadsheet correctly.
3. Every predefined event creates or updates a task with the right assignee and due date.
4. No manual work is required aside from periodic content edits.
Feel free to suggest platforms or frameworks you trust (Twilio, Meta Cloud API, Zapier, Make, custom code). The solution just has to be stable, scalable, and easy for a non-technical marketer to tweak after launch.
