WhatsApp QR Ordering Chatbot in n8n
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a WhatsApp-based ordering flow that lets diners scan the QR code on their table and complete their whole order inside WhatsApp. The build must run on Wati for the messaging layer and n8n for the automation logic, and I’d like the first usable version in 2 days.
Core flow
• Guest scans the table QR → WhatsApp session opens automatically with our restaurant number.
• Chatbot shows the full menu, lets guests pick items, then freely add or remove dishes before checkout.
• When the guest confirms, the order is pushed straight to the kitchen end-point and a single confirmation message goes back to the guest (no ongoing status pings).
• A payment option is offered inside the chat; once paid, the transaction is logged alongside the order.
• I, as the owner, can view every order detail in a simple web or Google-Sheet style view generated from n8n.
Tech requirements
• Wati templates for greeting, menu, modification loop, payment prompt, and final confirmation.
• n8n workflow that handles: QR parameter capture (table number), menu JSON, add/remove item logic, payment webhook, kitchen notification, and owner dashboard update.
• All credentials and flows documented so I can edit prices or items later.
Deliverables
1. Exported Wati templates and approved WhatsApp message set.
2. n8n workflow file(s) with clear node names and comments.
3. Quick kitchen view (could be Google Sheet, Airtable, or lightweight web page) receiving each order in real time.
4. One-page setup guide so I can redeploy or tweak the bot myself.
