WhatsApp Habit Reminder Chatbot

I’m building Habitmate and need a lightweight WhatsApp chatbot whose core purpose is to push daily habit reminders. The flow is simple: a user adds a habit, the bot confirms, then automatically pings them every day at the agreed-upon time. Customisation is only partial—think choosing the hour of the reminder or tweaking the wording—so the experience stays streamlined rather than turning into a full scheduling app.
You’re free to use the WhatsApp Business Cloud API, Twilio, or any comparable solution, as long as setup on my end is straightforward and the bot stays within WhatsApp’s messaging guidelines. I prefer clean, well-commented code (Python, Node.js, or Go all work) plus a quick README that walks me through deployment, environment variables, and how to adjust reminder templates in the future.
Deliverables
• Source code in a public or private repo
• Simple data store for user habits and preferred reminder times
• Deployment / hosting guide (Docker or serverless welcome)
• Short video or screenshots showing the bot sending a daily reminder
Acceptance criteria
The bot must reliably send at least one automated message per user every 24 hours, allow each user to pick a time window for their reminder, and let me modify message text without touching core logic.
