WhatsApp Chatbot & Monday Tasks
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
When a client rings after business hours and no one can pick up, I want an automated WhatsApp conversation to step in immediately. The bot should greet the caller, capture their basic details and the reason they reached out, then push everything straight into my Monday.com board as a new task so the team sees it first thing in the morning.
I also need a scannable QR / barcode that launches a second WhatsApp flow dedicated to feedback. Once scanned, it should ask for suggestions or complaints and file each response to a separate Monday board (or group) with the same level of detail.
I already have an active OpenAI API key and would like the conversational logic to run through it so replies feel natural and can adapt to what the client types. If a lighter, rule-based prompt makes more sense for certain steps, I’m open to mixing predefined and AI-generated answers.
Core deliverables:
• After-hours WhatsApp bot that creates or updates items in Monday.com
• QR/Barcode that links to a feedback-only WhatsApp bot with identical Monday.com integration
• Clean, well-commented code plus deployment instructions so I can host it under my own accounts (WhatsApp Business, Monday API, OpenAI)
Acceptance criteria:
1. Missed-call simulation posts a test item on the correct Monday board with all captured fields.
2. QR code scan opens the feedback chat and submits a sample suggestion that appears on its board.
3. All conversation text is generated through my OpenAI API key and can be tweaked via a prompt file.
