Role Overview
We are seeking a ManyChat Chatbot Flow Specialist (independent contractor) based in the Philippines. In this role, you will design and implement conversational chatbot flows using ManyChat to support lead generation, customer support, and appointment booking efforts. You will work remotely with our NZ-based team, creating effective chatbot experiences that delight users and deliver results. This contract offers flexible hours and is ideal for a proactive self-starter who can meet deadlines and communicate clearly in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
As a ManyChat Chatbot Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Design & Build Chatbot Flows: Design, implement, and manage chatbot conversation flows in ManyChat to automate customer interactions (lead capture, FAQs, appointment scheduling) across platforms like Facebook Messengerziprecruiter.com. Ensure flows are engaging, error-free, and aligned with client objectives.
* Automation & Integration: Set up automated messaging sequences and integrate chatbot flows with relevant tools or systems (e.g. scheduling calendars, CRM via Zapier) to streamline lead generation and booking processes.
* Monitor & Optimize: Monitor chatbot performance and user engagement metrics; troubleshoot technical issues and refine flows based on analytics and user feedback for continuous improvementziprecruiter.com. Conduct regular testing to ensure a smooth user experience.
* Collaborate with Team: Work closely with our New Zealand-based team (marketing, customer support, etc.) to ensure chatbot content and tone align with the client’s brand and business goalsziprecruiter.com. Provide updates on progress and incorporate team feedback.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on ManyChat features and best practices. Continuously test new approaches and optimize chatbot funnels to improve conversion rates and user satisfactionziprecruiter.com.
Requirements
Candidates must have:
* Location: Residing in the Philippines (this role is only open to Philippine-based applicants).
* ManyChat Experience: Minimum 12 months of hands-on experience building chatbot flows using ManyChat. Proven track record creating effective flows for lead generation, customer support, and appointment bookinguse cases.
* Chatbot Skills: Strong understanding of chatbot design and conversational flow. Ability to create engaging, logical chat paths that guide users towards a goal (e.g. capturing a lead or booking an appointment).
* Technical Ability: Comfortable using ManyChat’s visual flow builder and features. Experience with integrations (e.g. connecting ManyChat to Google Calendar, CRM, or email via tools like Zapier) is a plus.
* Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills. Able to communicate clearly and promptly with an international (NZ-based) team. Experience in remote collaboration (Slack/Email/Zoom) is highly valued.
* Portfolio/Examples: Ability to showcase previous chatbot projects or flows you have built in ManyChat (or similar platforms) to demonstrate your experience and results.
* Education: No specific degree required, but background in marketing, IT, or related field is an advantage. Relevant certifications in chatbot development or ManyChat are a bonus.

Work Environment: This is a remote contract role with flexible working hours. While you can set your own work schedule, you must be available for occasional check-in meetings (to accommodate time difference with New Zealand) and consistently deliver work on schedule.
