We are a print-on-demand (POD) company with over 12 years of operational history.
We’ve accumulated millions of records across product specifications, order data, customer inquiries, and internal production guides.
We are looking to develop an AI-driven knowledge system that not only supports customer queries, but also enhances internal workflows — such as product specification extraction, process automation, and intelligent support for our production teams.
This is not just a chatbot. It’s the foundational phase of a broader AI initiative to make our company’s accumulated knowledge accessible and usable through natural language and semantic search.
Goals:
Build a natural language Q&A system using ChatGPT API.
Use a vector database (e.g., Pinecone) for semantic search on production guides and technical documents.
Allow customers and internal staff to ask questions like:
“How do I prepare a file for die-cut sticker printing?”
“What’s the turnaround time for X product?”
“Can this paper type support embossing?”
Handle vague or inaccurate queries with intelligent clarification or fallback messages.
Enable ongoing expansion of the knowledge base as new content and questions emerge.
Data Available for Integration:
File preparation guides (resolution, CMYK, font handling, page setup)
Post-processing specs (die-cutting, lamination, scoring, perforation, etc.)
Material compatibility per product
Historical customer support conversations
Product-specific FAQs and production rule sets
All resources can be restructured as needed
Preferred Tech Stack:
ChatGPT API (gpt-4-turbo or gpt-4o)
Vector DB: Pinecone (or alternatives like Weaviate)
Web-based interface or internal tool integration
