Facebook Messenger Auto-Responder Setup

I need a lightweight but reliable auto-responder for Facebook Marketplace Messenger. Every new inquiry should receive an English-language greeting that quickly qualifies the lead and then drops a link to my scheduling form so the prospect can choose a time that goes straight onto my Google Calendar.

The must-haves for this first milestone are:
• Detect the first incoming message on Marketplace chat and fire the greeting within seconds.
• Insert my pre-written text plus the scheduling-form link (I currently use Calendly, but Zapier, ManyChat or native Meta tools are fine if you can achieve the same result).
• Ensure the booked slot is created as a standard Google Calendar event with the prospect’s name and Messenger handle for easy follow-up.

Nice-to-have, if you can bundle it smoothly (or at least plan the hand-off): automated reminders and a flag that lets me trigger a “sorry we missed you” follow-up when someone doesn’t show. Appointment scheduling and no-show sequences were options I considered, so future expansion matters.

Please tell me which platform or stack you prefer (ManyChat, Chatfuel, custom Node/Python script with the Meta API, etc.), how you’ll handle Facebook’s permissions, and how long it will take me to see the first greeting live.
