As a health organization striving to make healthcare more accessible for Swahili-speaking communities, we are seeking a GPT API developer to bring our project to life. Our goal is to create Chat GPT prompt for health assessment chatbot API within our pre-existing Flutter App. Your scope is creating promt and API end points, our Flutter Developer will integrate into App, so you will only work on GPT side.

The right freelancer for this job should have:

-Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques.
-Experience in developing chatbots or conversational AI systems.

Key Features of the API needed:

- Ability to address both general health and mental health issues
- A function for patients to first diagnose their symptoms effectively (Symptom checker)

Deliverables:

-Fully functional chatbot API capable of addressing general health issues and mental health concerns in Swahili.
-Support and maintenance for the chatbot post-deployment, including bug fixes and updates as needed.

Summary of work:

API Implementation: Develop the necessary endpoints or methods to interact with the GPT API securely. This includes handling authentication, sending requests to the GPT API, and processing responses.

Symptom Extraction: Implement logic to extract up to 4 symptoms from the user's conversation. This may involve preprocessing the text inputs, identifying relevant keywords or phrases indicative of symptoms, and formatting the data appropriately for input into the GPT API.

Disease Confirmation: use disease wight we already provide to confirm if any disease mentioned by the user matches the allowed list of diseases. If not confirmed, identify the most probable diseases based on the symptoms provided and interact with the GPT API to ask additional questions to narrow down the possibilities.

Symptom and Risk Factor Confirmation: Utilize the GPT API to confirm the disease based on the symptoms mentioned by the user. Incorporate risk factors provided to filter and confirm the disease further. If necessary, prompt the user for more risk factors.

Output Generation: Upon confirmation of the disease, interact with the GPT API to generate the disease ID. Ensure proper handling of responses and error cases.

Testing and Optimization: Test the API implementation thoroughly to ensure seamless communication with the GPT API and accurate processing of user inputs. Optimize the performance of the API to minimize latency and enhance user experience.
