Customer Data Excel Optimization
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m sitting on a growing pile of customer data that needs to be brought under control and turned into clear, actionable insight. My goal is to transform scattered records into a clean, structured, and report-ready Excel workbook.
Here’s what I need handled:
• Data entry & organization – move raw customer files into well-structured tables with consistent headers, named ranges, and no duplicate rows.
• Data cleaning & formatting – standardize dates, phone numbers, and addresses; fix typos; apply data-validation rules so new entries stay clean.
• Excel reporting & analysis – create pivot tables, charts, and a concise dashboard that lets me filter by region, product, and purchase date at a glance.
Key points
• Source files are a mix of CSVs and older spreadsheets.
• Accuracy is non-negotiable; formulas such as XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and dynamic arrays will likely come into play.
• I’m not under a tight clock, but I’d like steady progress updates and the flexibility to refine reports as patterns emerge.
Deliverables
1. A master Excel workbook containing the fully cleaned customer dataset.
2. An easy-to-refresh reporting sheet (pivot tables, slicers, basic charts).
3. A brief step-by-step log so I can retrace the cleaning process or replicate it later.
If you enjoy turning chaotic data into a polished, insight-ready asset, this project should be straightforward and rewarding.
