Whimsical Children's Book Illustrations
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I'm seeking an experienced illustrator for a children's book. The project requires 24 illustrations and a book cover.
Key Requirements:
- Illustrate human children, two elves, three adults, and a squirrel.
- Set in natural landscapes.
- Capture an adventurous and exciting tone.
- Whimsical/watercolour texture style.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong portfolio in children's book illustrations.
- Proficiency in watercolour techniques.
- Ability to create engaging, adventurous scenes.
- Experience with a variety of characters in natural settings.
* The first book is a standalone book titled Monty The Brave and The Magic Yellow Coat.
Monty is a boy who discovers he gets magic powers every time he wears his yellow coat in Bluebell Forest.
Mr and Mrs Grizzle-Bug live in Hidey-Hole Hollow, and Monty doesn’t realise that it isn’t magic that gives him powers, but their belief in him that gives him confidence.
He has to act with courage on three occasions in the story and it’s then he understands that it’s not his coat but him who is doing it all.*
