Key Requirements:
- Illustrator MUST be a native citizen of a country in the Global South
- Illustrations should be whimsical and captivating for young children
- Experience in creating artwork specifically for children's books
- Ability to bring stories to life through imagination and creativity
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in various illustration techniques (digital or traditional)
- Strong understanding of color, composition, and character design
- Previous work in children's literature is a plus
- Ability to embed text in illustrations (like standard children's books)
- Ability to send work digitally in a variety of formats (jpg, png, pdf)
