My script is already taking shape for 5min18seconde; now I want to see it breathe on the page. The story blends drama with light humour, so the artwork must balance emotional gravity and playful beats without ever feeling disjointed.
Visual direction
– Pages will alternate between striking black-and-white passages and selective bursts of colour. Think high-contrast inks for tense moments, then colour splashes to amplify turning points.
– Characters should look detailed and realistic, capable of conveying subtle shifts in mood. Expressive faces and believable body language are essential, as is an eye for immersive backgrounds that support the tone.
How we’ll work
I’ll supply a chapter outline and scene breakdowns. From there, I’d like:
1. Rough character sheets and environment sketches for approval.
2. Page thumbnails to lock pacing and panel flow.
3. Final line art and colour/B&W treatments delivered as layered PSD or Clip Studio files plus ready-to-print PDFs (300 dpi, CMYK where applicable).
