3D Fairytale Animation for Kids

I am producing a new fairy-tale short for children aged roughly 4-8 and need a skilled 3D animator to bring it to life from storyboard to final render. The story centres on a group of engaging fairy characters who guide viewers through a magical world; whimsical landscapes and lovable animal sidekicks can be woven in to heighten the sense of wonder.

What I’m after
• Strong command of a modern 3D package—Blender, Maya or a comparable tool—plus the ability to handle modelling, rigging, animation and basic lighting/FX within that pipeline.
• A clear feel for child-friendly pacing, colour palettes and character appeal; prior credits on kids’ projects will stand out.
• Original character design skills: the fairies must look instantly charming and expressive while remaining simple enough for young eyes to follow.
• Smooth communication on story beats, style frames and revisions to keep the narrative upbeat and age-appropriate.

Deliverables
1. Fully animated video (final length to be agreed, mastered in 1080p or 4K H.264).
2. Editable project files, textures and rigs so I can commission future episodes in the same style.
3. One short teaser clip or GIF for marketing.
