Epic Sci-Fi Fantasy Cover
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m commissioning a single, finished illustration for a forthcoming fantasy / science-fiction novel and can offer a flat fee of $450 for the job. The mood I need is unmistakably epic and adventurous, almost cinematic in scope, yet the central image will be deliberately unconventional: an other-worldly composition of abstract objects orbiting a single, outstretched hand. Picture it floating against a vast, celestial backdrop—nebula-rich skies, distant planets, and radiant stardust—to hint at both magic and advanced technology without revealing too much of the plot.
I’ll supply page dimensions, bleed specs, and the exact title typography placement once we start. You’ll have creative freedom on colour palette and detailing, as long as the final piece evokes wonder and a sense of grand discovery.
Deliverables (all at project hand-off):
• Print-ready cover in 300 DPI CMYK (front only and full wrap versions)
• Matching RGB version for ebook platforms
• Layered source file (PSD, Procreate, or Clip Studio) so the text team can adjust elements if required
• Confirmation that the illustration is original and exclusive, with full commercial rights transferred on payment
