Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong cartoon art skills
- Experience with storytelling in comic format
- Ability to capture emotions and expressions effectively

Please make a comic strip or cartoon page with these specifics in different scenes
Cartoon – Jill & Kory’s First Date
Character1 = Jill is 5’9” with a slender and attractive body. 22 years old. She has slightly wavy black hair down to her shoulders that parts left to right. Brown eyes, dimples, and a mole on her left cheek just above the corner of her lip.
Character 2 = Kory is 6’0” with a broader, athletic build. 22 years old. He has brown hair that is slightly spiked and parted from left to right. Blue eyes and a caring smile.
1 The Question – September 18, 1998
Scene: Inside The Press Box Bar in Vermillion, SD. Jill is wearing a dark green shirt (holding a beer bottle, slightly tipsy, playful smile) leans toward Kory and asks, “So… are you going to ask me out or what?” Kory’s eyes widen excitedly, huge smile, beer bottle in hand. He immediately responds with a "Yes!".
2 The Road Trip – September 23, 1998, 5:00 PM
Scene: Jill is driving her light green Pontiac Grand Prix cruising down the highway toward Sioux City with Kory as her passenger. Jill in her orange sweater and blue jeans. Kory in his dark blue shirt with “Lucky 13” in gold letters on the front. A speech bubble from Jill who is laughing and saying: “Remember the time in the library when you had your shoes off and I said "Who is eating corn chips?” Kory blushes and laughs nervously.
3. Kung Pao & Laughter
Scene: Southern Hills Mall, a cozy Chinese restaurant. Plates of Kung Pao chicken in front of them. Jill laughing mid-bite, Kory telling a story. Thought bubble over Kory: “This girl is amazing…”
4. Dumb & Dumber Moment
Scene: Inside a gift shop in the Southern Hills Mall. While Jill is browsing birthday cards, Kory sneaks up behind her with a roll of red wrapping paper, cartoon “SWAT!” motion lines as it taps her on the butt. Both laughing so hard they’re bent over.
5. Movie Theater
Scene: Empty theater with just Kory and Jill in it showing the movie Snake Eyes with Nicholas Cage. Kory sitting stiff, peeking at Jill’s leg, thought bubble: “Should I…?” Jill leaning back, smiling slightly, wondering if he will do it.
6. The Drive Home
Scene: Jill is driving her light green Pontiac Grand Prix heading back to Vermillion with Kory as her passenger. Kory and Jill are sitting as close as they can in the car. Kory has his hand on her leg and they are singing along to a Bare Naked Ladies song on the radio.
7. The Almost Kiss
Scene: Jill’s house in Vermillion. They stand on her front step under a porch light. The house is small, square and grey. Kory scratching the back of his neck nervously, saying goodnight and wishing he would just kiss her. Jill thinking: “Just kiss me, silly…” but smiling warmly. There is black cat named Pookie and has a white nose and feet sitting in the window with wide eyes and a big smile as he watches Jill and Kory.
8. The Realization
Scene: Kory driving away in his 1990 red Pontiac Grand Am, a small cartoon heart thought bubble over his head with Jill’s smiling face inside. Thought bubble: “Someday I am going to marry that girl.”
I have included pictures of us today to give you an idea on how to make the characters.
